How will you escape being condemned to hell?"

Jesus, feeling slightly enragedAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10000498.post-13820920099522489992011-02-19T23:51:48.275-05:002011-02-19T23:51:48.275-05:00I wouldn't expect someone like you -- someone ...I wouldn't expect someone like you -- someone so sorely lacking in subtlety -- to understand the difference between rage and contempt.

I feel contempt for you and your beliefs because they are born of utter, unalloyed ignorance.

And that ignorance is what gives ignition to people like George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Sarah Palin and the rest of that lunatic brood.

It's the sort of ignorance that gave us the war in Iraq an the unwinnable debacle in Afghanistan.

It's the sort of ignorance that deifies a cracked and degenerate person like Ronald Reagan.

It's the kind of ignorance that demands utter homogeneity in people.

It's the kind of ignorance that bans books.

This isn't hatred you find here, it's contempt. Complete, seamless contempt for you and your empty belief system that really only boils down to one screeching motto: "Be like me!"

No, I won't be like you. I despise everything you're about.

To think people have fought in wars so you'd have the freedom you so sorely abuse to ban books.

In Egypt, long-banned books are returning to book store shelves. People in countless countries live under horrific oppression and would give almost anything to have a fraction of the access to information and art that we have in North America.

And what do you do with your freedom? You take freedom away from others.

No, it's contempt you've found inside the hotdog factory. I wouldn't waste the calories it would take to hate you.

Consider this my John 3:16 statement to you.

Maybe one day you'll give reason a shot and the scales will fall away from your mind.Whetam Gnauckweirsthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06038247522187261808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10000498.post-30539675161734180692011-02-19T23:39:04.509-05:002011-02-19T23:39:04.509-05:00Saint Paul met God on the road to Damascus, and so...Saint Paul met God on the road to Damascus, and so I wonder why you would call him a fool. He changed his ways dramatically as a result and spent his life telling others about God. Don't you think that he would have had to have been insane to have wasted his life like that? Not only did he waste his life, others wrote about him and kept the writings of an insane man for thousands of years in the most frequently published book known to man.

Dennis Taylor

Oh, and I commented on your rage. I wonder how you do when you do not cloud your arguments with so much needless emotion?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10000498.post-52871871087286021232011-02-19T23:20:49.128-05:002011-02-19T23:20:49.128-05:00Dennis, you are a hopelessly lost and damaged huma...Dennis, you are a hopelessly lost and damaged human being. Clearly you have something to prove. Well, you're doing it in the wrong neighborhood. I don't believe in the Easter bunny or the Tooth Fairy, nor in some invisible man in the sky who would have his own son nailed to a cross like a piece of furniture.

Post whatever you like here. It's been an interesting insight into a very troubled, disconnected mind and a startingly vacant soul.

Our interaction did inspire me to write today's blog piece about Promise Keepers.

You're a fool for Christ in the truest St. Paul sense.

A fanatic, a zealot, a person who has only the vaguest understanind of the letter of the law, but not the foggiest idea, nor faintest grasp on the heart of the law you think you follow.

In my 48 hour analysis of you, I think you're quite pathetic.

I also sense a very well-deserved backlash against you is brewing in Bedford.

Maybe you should price houses in Bahrain. They seem to have the same ideas as you about handling people and ideas they don't like.Whetam Gnauckweirsthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06038247522187261808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10000498.post-32740047300903275192011-02-19T22:51:01.688-05:002011-02-19T22:51:01.688-05:00I actually am just kidding. Based on the rage you...I actually am just kidding. Based on the rage you demonstate freely in your writing, these above words are likely wasted on you right now. However, it is my hope that you will reconsider Jesus, though I certainly would not force you to do so, even if I could. I just hate to see other people trapped in hatred when Jesus gives us all a way out.

Peace,

Dennis TaylorAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10000498.post-27070777360361780182011-02-19T22:47:46.767-05:002011-02-19T22:47:46.767-05:00John 3:16 (New International Version, ©2010)

This message is not necessarily intended for you, but, since you have a free thinking blog, how could I refuse such an invitation to begin a dialogue about God.

Dennis TaylorAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
